All Aboard! KMS spends a week aboard the S.S. American.

Dlr Mill Theatre, Dundrum, hosted KMS’s latest musical extravaganza, Anything Goes, from April 4th to April 8th, 2023. This timeless classic brought audiences on an entertaining and unforgettable voyage over five sold out shows.

‘We were thrilled to bring this beloved musical to life on the Dlr Mill Theatre stage’ said KMS Chairperson, Alison Gill. ‘It is a timeless tale of love, laughter, and friendship that had audiences laughing, tapping their toes and singing along. Within our membership we have an exceptional cast and chorus and they were led by a production team whose dedication to delivering a high-quality production was admirable. We had five sold out shows and 5 standing ovations. We were delighted to see everyone in the audience smiling from ear to ear throughout the show.’

The KMS members had a fantastic week, as you can see from the photos below.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us in getting Anything Goes to stage; to our committee who have volunteered their time to work tirelessly over the last few months, often behind the scenes, to help get this show to the stage, to our production team of Paul, Rachel and Kevin for all their hard work, patience and dedication to getting us stage ready, to Colum and Paul for our set and coordinating our backstage team this week, to Conor and Aidan for sound and lights, to all of our Front of House and Backstage crew volunteers and to Alan for all our poster/social media graphics and our fabulous programme.

Many thanks to our rehearsal venue Rockford Manor Secondary School, to Dún Laoghaire County Council and to all our sponsors and patrons for their invaluable support, we couldn’t do this without them! To Kate, Shona, Kris & the team at Dlr Mill Theatre, our members always love to get on stage at The Mill; thank you all for your continued support of KMS, and for your warm welcome.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everybody who bought a ticket to come see the show, for choosing to spend an evening with us and for supporting us by purchasing a ticket to witness the magic of live theatre.

Above all else, a huge thank you is due to our members for their hard work and dedication in the lead up to this show. They put in many months of rehearsals and preparation to bring this musical to life. They truly embody the spirit of KMS and this show is a testament to their passion and commitment

For now, KMS are taking our summer break. Bon voyage….until next season!
